Ten industrial parks will be created in Ukraine. This was stated today Kaskiv, head of the State Agency for Investment and national projects of Ukraine during a meeting with the press in framework of the session government.

"Industrial parks are a new industry and more than 300 thousand jobs. Ten industrial parks will be created under the new national project "Industrial parks of Ukraine" as defined by the President of Ukraine and included in the National Action Plan for 2012. Law of Ukraine "On industrial parks" was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine 22 March this year,” - said the head the State Agency for Investment and national projects of Ukraine.

"By the instructions of the President of Ukraine dated March 22, 2012 list of national projects was increased to 15 and existing national projects have been upgraded to include new components. In particular, within a network of industrial parks will also implemented project "Technopolis Bionic Hill» - creation of infrastructure innovation and high technology, "said V. Kaskiv.

President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych upgraded list of National projects and expanded the powers of the State Agency for Investment and National projects of Ukraine. Vladyslav Kaskiv, head of the State Agency for Investment and national projects of Ukraine, announced this today.

«According to the Instructions of President of Ukraine dated March 22, 2012, there were identified additional priority areas of socio-economic and cultural development, in particular «Agroperspektive» direction. Also there were added new elements of national projects; thus national project «LNG-terminal» was upgraded to «LNG Ukraine» – the liquefied gas delivery to Ukraine infrastructure creation», which includes such parts as «LNG-terminal» and «LNG-life».  Also there were added such new national projects as «Industrial parks of Ukraine» - industrial infrastructure creation» and «Technopolis» - innovation and high technology infrastructure creation» said V. Kaskiv.

Today the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has considered and approved on second reading and in whole the law "On industrial parks." The law "On industrial parks" is a key element of the Investment reforms promulgated by the President of Ukraine on 6 April 2011.

This is one of seven major draft laws, which were under consideration of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Its adoption in Ukraine postponed for several years, while in most developed countries it is one of conditions of effective functioning of the economy. Today, the law was adopted by 271 voices.

"An indication of the importance of creating industrial parks in Ukraine is that the new national project "Industrial parks of Ukraine" is defined by the President of Ukraine on the National Action Plan for 2012. For Ukraine, adoption of the law "On industrial parks" will become a protection from the new wave of economic crisis in Europe and worldwide. In 3-4 years after the creation of industrial parks, Ukraine will be able to attract $ 8 billion investment and create 300 thousand workplaces "- said Kaskiv, head of the State Agency for Investment and national projects of Ukraine and co-author of the law.

President of Ukraine has approved new National Project “Industrial Parks of Ukraine”. Vladyslav Kaskiv, Head of the State Agency for Investments and National Projects of Ukraine, announced this during his speech at the presentation of investment opportunities and the projects of development of Dnipropetrovsk Region. The event was organized jointly with the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine and held in Kiev.

National Project “Industrial Parks of Ukraine” was added to the list of the National Project by the Presidential Decree, which approved the 2012 National Reform Action Plan.

By the Decree of President of Ukraine № 198/2012 "On the heads of directions of reform" from 15th of March, 2012 Vladyslav Kaskiv, Head of the State Agency for Investment and National Projects of Ukraine was determined as head of the direction of reforms “implementation of national projects and investments”.

Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Argentina Lila Roldán Vázquez de Moine in Ukraine. The sides agreed on cooperation, particularly in economic and cultural spheres. According to Mrs. Ambassador, representatives of the Argentine business must join to the first Kiev Investment Forum as they are interested in investment in the capital of Ukraine. This was informed by press service of Kyiv City State Administration.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov considers that Turkmenistan and Ukraine should increase the amount of goods turnover.

According to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, there are about 30 companies now in Turkmenistan with participation of the Ukrainian capital. Companies have implemented and continue to implement 64 investment projects worth about $ 2 billion.
